How do I join ISYPO?
ISYPO has 2 annual intake sessions each year. One in early spring and the other in late-summer. The application process lasts about 3 months, after which you will be emailed your application status. As of current day, there are 863 members who have registered interest* in ISYPO and its functioning groups.
Do I have to be a member to participate?
Yes, you have to be a member to participate. ISYPO is a new yet prestigious organisation with multiple global affiliations. Each ISYPO subgroup meeting takes place with a balanced moderator-member ratio (2:15); as a result, ISYPO can only accommodate up to 50 new members within each intake.
How often does a group meet?
As an ISYPO member, you will be expected to participate in a collaboration session at least twice a month with other members and moderators over an online video-conference platform. Besides online meetings, ISYPO requires members to engage in self-led research between meeting and collaboration sessions.
Is there a membership fee?
ISYPO is dedicated to providing opportunities to students from diverse backgrounds. Our commitment to inclusivity means that we do not charge a fee for membership or participation. Our programs are designed to be accessible to all eligible students.
